Welcome to YBC – Lake Waconia! At 3,000 acres, Waconia is the Twin Cities’ second biggest lake. Waconia is home to 2012’s Governors Fishing Opener and leagues of extraordinary fish. After your lake adventure, explore the nearby charming town of Waconia with its local shops, restaurants, and wineries.

Tubing is allowed for members only at this location (Not allowed for renters).
Tube & rope is available for members with a boat reservation, at no additional cost with annual membership.

Gas: No public fuel available.
Ice: Ice for sale at Lola's Lakehouse.
Rental and member boat reservations will come with a full tank of gas. This is separate from the boat rental cost and you will be charged for the fuel you use on your trip upon your return.

With Lolas Lake House located right on-site, dining is both convienent and delicious on Lake Waconia. Enjoy great views and handcrafted meals right on the water.

Take a drive in to downtown Waconia, where you'll find antique stores, gas stations, and convenience stores all conveniently located along the way. Stock up on snacks and other essentials before heading out on the water.
fishing
Common fish species in Lake Waconia include walleye, largemouth bass, northern pike, and panfish. In spring, these fish typically gather around shallower structures, then move to deeper, cooler areas in summer. As fall approaches, they return to the shallows. Stop in to Mase’s In Towne Marina for live bait.
swimming
Anchor down and jump into the refreshing water, or experience the thrill of a tube ride! Head to the island in the center of the lake, which feautes a prestine, secluded beach.
sightseeing
Visit Lake Waconia Regional Park on the southern shore, which boasts over 100 acres of trails and picnic areas. Or, check out the charming local wineries for a delightful wine tasting experience.
